The East Hants Sport Awards recognize sporting excellence by celebrating the best and brightest in local sport. 

 

There are 11 categories:

 

14 & Under Division:

18 & Under (15-18 yrs.):

Top Female Athlete

Top Male Athlete

19 & Over Division:

Top Female Athlete

Top Male Athlete

Top Team

 

Top Coach

 

Top Volunteer

 

To be considered for an award, the nominee must have either been:

 

1. A resident of the municipality of East Hants or have played their respective sport(s) within a club or team based in the municipality;

 

2. Must have completed their season before December 31 of the respective year;

 

3. Must be in good standing with their respective sport association either locally or provincially. 

 

A nominee’s age for the award is based on their age as of January 1 of the respective year.
